Common questions
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?
Sign into the same Apple ID you purchased with, open Thailo, and tap Restore purchases (on the unlock screen or in Settings). Entitlements come straight from Apple, so nothing is lost with a new device.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Thailo → Cancel. If you cancel during the 7-day trial you won't be charged at all. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What works offline?
Everything except AI practice: all lessons, spaced-repetition reviews, the full 459-phrase phrasebook, and the alphabet reference are bundled on-device. AI-graded practice needs a connection because grading runs on a server.
Audio isn't playing — what do I check?
The iPhone silent switch is the usual culprit — Thai audio respects it. Check volume, then Thailo's own Settings for sound options. Still stuck? Email us with your device model and iOS version.
What data does Thailo collect?
Short version: progress lives on your device, analytics are anonymized, nothing you type or say is stored on our side, and there are no ads or data sales. The full story is in the privacy policy.
